Mainly down to the fact there were purchasing a better grade of player. Adding to the squad rather than just replacing. The main areas that required strengthening were CB, LB, DMC, AMC, LM, RM/RW, ST. If Johnson pulls off the Nyatanga signing, then were are looking a much rejuvenated/fresh outfit. I still feel we require a left midfielder (whether McIndoe goes or not) and a bigger centre forward, someone with reasonable aerial ability. don't want to get to far ahead of myself but, with those additional "clubs in the bag", I feel a top 8 finish wouldn't be out of our reach.
