iWurzel
From Sky Sports: Bristol Rovers have clinched the loan signing of Newcastle United's highly-rated goalkeeper Fraser Forster. That's it then, time for Steve to throw all his toys out the pram and move on, worth a punt you think?

Keep the Faith
I've heard from a very reliable source at Rovers that they're hoping to bring in two keepers possibly both on loan and sell Phillips because he's a high earner and finally they've realised that he's also useless. chinapig
Wilson brought several good goalkeepers in on loan but never with the intention of supplanting Flapper, just as cover. He threw his toys out of the pram when he found Johnson expected him to compete for his place. So it depends whether Trollope's intentions are like Wilson's or Johnson's. If the latter, he will indeed flounce out. Bristol's No. 1 and all that.

Boaz Myhill springs instantly to mind established Premier League Keeper and Regular International keeper, didn't get a look in ahead of Flapper. Funny how their paths have taken such different turns since then!!!!

Clearly he won't be coming back here, but he's definitely not useless. He behaved like a knob and couldn't handle the competition (maybe like Basso?), but on the whole he wasn't a bad goalie for us was he? Good enough to keep Myhill, Hennessy and Foster out of our team according to our management at the time, who know a bit more about the game than us. Guest MaloneFM
Rather like the Bully here I am not one to badmouth an ex player simply because he isn't in our gang anymore. Remember this is the man that saved a penalty in the derby that sent them down. I still find it surprising that people are astonished at how childish professional footballer are. RED4LIFE
Even more worrying is the fact that the blue few have accepted a bid from an as yet un-named Championship club. Please God, dont let it be us :fingerscrossed:
Lack of Action Man
We would never pay to have him back. There would be too much of a clash between his ego and Johnsons. It would be like bringing Marcus Stewart back. Just ain't gonna happen.
