Never to the dark side
Heard a rumour that if Bristol City and Swine town end up in the final together Match could be tranferred to Old Trafford Strange that a match sceduled months ago can be transferred at short notice Taking into account the cancellation charges and mobilisation of the Manchester police force
Claverham_Red
Can I ask where you heard the rumour?

cheshire_red
What would the point be, both sets would still be using similar trains and motorways! Go down well with about 50 of us northern forum users
lilciderhed
Why would they do this? Would mean alot of hassle for City & Swindon fans then I would think.
Why?
As long as they don't sell the tickets at Millenium Stadium Prices then fine! The Play-Offs are a massive rip off!!!!

It is going to be the best part of a £100 quid I would have thought. Ticket and coach from AG and beer.

Never to the dark side
Lads and Lasses believe me I did not start the rumour about the incorrect score But who ever did should be strung up with piano wire I had my radio on most of the game so I knew what was going on Very difficult watching game, listening to the game on radio and then having Phil Throttle butting in Sounded more like a Scotsman than a local west country man Any way can you imagine Bristol City Ka-diff and Swine town all in the same place on one day and that excludes those from Swansea and Newport Its only a rumour but its just a note of caution as well
Admin phantom Posted May 9, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted May 9, 2004 Surely the FA must have a contract with the Millenium Stadium, and with the Millenium Stadium being in supposed financial problems then they are not going to let the game be moved. Wasn't the same "rumour" put around last season before Cardiff secured their place in the final? Can think of no reason why the game should be moved anyway! Can't be for fears of travel problems as there must have been games there already where both teams come from London?
