Red_Mat Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 Yes, apparently agreeing to pay a certain amount for a player then withholding some of the money is not illegal or wrong at all, it's completely legitmate. And you can still continue selecting that player on the bench as well. However, abiding by the referee's decision isn't the right correct thing to do, it is now "cheating". Strange, eh? (And we all know what Colin thinks of players who shouldn't be playing for playing for certain clubs because they broke the rules, don't we? He didn't like Tevez playing for West Ham at all. Crystal Palace have been banned from signing players following a dispute over unpaid bonuses and signing-on fees from last season.
