OK, so you've officiated in another match. You're aware of some controversy as the usually mild mannered Mr Warnock seems a little agitated.

You shower, go home, put the tea on and then sit down to watch the highlights.

Oh Lordy.

What do you do next?

  1. Ring up the Professional Game Match Officals for advice and support during this stressful time. Hmmm
  2. Remember you have a holiday booked in Lithuania for the next three weeks and get on the first plane out
  3. Accept the offer to officiate at Bristol Rovers next home game with at least the reassurance that no-one will be watching you
  4. Ring up the linesman who gave you that "advice" and concoct a reason for disallowing the goal
  5. Others???

Remember, if you concoct a reason to disallow the goal it will make Hackett, Warnock and Jordan look like prats.

What would you do?

I'll have a pint of number 4 please....

....the best thing is Warnock even stated in his after match interview that he had been told that the goal was disallowed for an infringement, and made some comment along the lines oh thats rubbish or something or other like that.........job done then for the officials, you know stick to the facts and all that.

Think I'd like to see Hackett apologise to us in person, half time tomorrow night would be nice.....and if the FA would be kind enough to treat us all to a pint to help the heeling process that would be fine too. As for Warnock and Jordan...the FA have to throw the book at them, you just cannot go around accusing other teams and their managers of being cheats etc,....especially when in Warnocks case he was already aware of why the goal had been ruled out!
