Martyn Hocking Posted August 27, 2009 Report Share Posted August 27, 2009 Can't stand Phil Brown so I hesitate to draw the comparison but GJ's treatment of his players last night has shades of Hull's half-time humiliation at Man City. Timeline: 9.45pm: return to dressing room 9.45-10.30: 45 mins of GJ verbal assault 10.30: return to pitch 10.30-11.30pm: training session to sort out the mess. Ouch! I have huge respect for Gary and think his actions were far smarter than Brown's (the humiliation took place in private) but this is a real 'hand grenade' moment.
