Bubble
For those going up to Newcastle lets give some thoughts to where we can meet before and most importantly for those staying up for the night where the night can be spent celebrating a victory. It would be great if we can turn a few places into a fun and friendly party zone! The Geordies know how to party lets bring the party to em! sound be a real fun day and night with plenty of friendly banter

EmersonsKev
Quayside? Alot of the hotels that I would guess City fans will be staying in are in and around this area. We are flying in late on Thursday night as was alot cheaper than Friday and Saturday and would be up for a laugh with other City fans.

Around the train station area is now one of the main party zones in the city - the Quayside has died down a little bit. For your eyes only is good fun!!! ;-)

redrob
Depending what your after depaends on where to go. Big Market - This area up near station-ish has lots of bars and pubs. Tends to get less of the extremely young crowd but a nice mix. Can hop from place to place and is genereally a very enjoyable night. Clubs - If you want clubs the best thing to do is go down to the quayside where you have choice on either side of the Tyne. Over on the gateshead side you actually have some massive clubs such as Quay (used to be very upmarket and sometimes pretnetious - recall seeing numnberous NUFC players in here on a saturday night Shay Gien actually tried to pull am mate of mine), but a good one is always Baja's. This place is cheese to the max waitresses in bikinis seving bear from chillers made from oldboats in the hawian theme-style. Again good mix of people music and banter. redpole
So lets choose a pub where we can all meet Friday night, for those of us that are staying Friday night it would be good to have a big group of us having a laugh and a sing song! Then maybe we could also meet in same place early sat morning!!! So who's going to start looking into where we can meet???

StapleHillPhil
I do like a nice pint of 'bear' :noexpression: Hofmeister? Quite possible as most northern towns seem to be stuck in an 80's nightmare in my experience.
