Rudolf Hucker
His lawyer admitted he was driving beyond the speed limit. It took a 3 day trial to conclude he was speeding excessively? Madness. The costs of the trial will far outweigh the resulting £600 fine.

Mr Mosquito
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/8269566.stm "During a three-day trial, Ronnie Renucci, acting for Miller, argued that his client could not be legally convicted because police failed to check the accuracy of their speed detection equipment." I agree with the lawyer, this case actually sets a terrible precedent because the Police do not now even need to have speed measuring equipment to be able to convict us. The Police and Courts service should get their own house in order. The Police Federation defended the driving of their corrupt officer Pc Mark Milton of the West Mercia Police, who is known to have travelled at 120mph in a 60mph zone and at more than 60mph in a 30mph zone and 159mph on a motorway to familiarise himself with a Police car*. * http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/shropshire/4559173.stm
