Scrumpylegs
Simple solution to the lack of width/wingers debate. We currently have one of the widest pitches in the football league. Simply lose 5 yards off each side (like Stoke City have done) and the jobs a good un'. Premier League football beckons my friends !! A lot cheaper than signing a new player as well !! Tim S
Is it really that simple?!? I dont mean with the tactic as a solution because I cant see that helping the team too much! But I mean as a club, can with just change the width of the pitch just like that? I would have thought we would have to ask permission from the football league or something, because Im sure that at the start of the season we probably have to submit our pitch size and then have to stick to it? Or could we just change it to what we want as long as its within regulations at the drop of a hat without having to get permission off anyone? Tim S
Have you never played Football Manager, elfmud? Yeah but never thought about changing the pitch! Why - Im guessing you can just chop and change it whenever you want then???
Mr Gow
Yeah but never thought about changing the pitch! Why - Im guessing you can just chop and change it whenever you want then??? I think you can do the hell you like with your own pitch as long as its within league dimensions
Who Shot JR?
I think you can do the hell you like with your own pitch as long as its within league dimensions I think you're right. Apparently Blackburn often change their pitch dimensions.
