The Man In Black
I wouldn't want to if they have Claridge commentating. He's bad enough in a studio, who on earth thought that he would be able to cope with live commentating? Here's a snippet if you're not listening: "Um...... uh...... umm....... er......" Alex_BCFC
QPR look a really good side. Have had a some very good results over recent weeks- looks like it is coming together for them.
GrahamC
**** them, if you're not The Toon army, ex-Prem or "Roy Keane's" Ipswich, they aren't interested.
fka dagest
There more chance of seeing the Blue few than us, expecially as a gashead works at the heart of BBC Sport (Caroline Cheese foten refers to him in text commentary). Which, was the last Bristol team featured on the BBC live? Why were we always ignored by the BBC when we had obvious FA Cup ties for screening? And this isn't the first time I've said this. Alex_BCFC
And we kept a clean sheet in our win over them, looks an even better result now. Luckily we played them before it all came together. Jay Simpson made a big difference to them.
cityhead
That's the sky matches. I meant the BBC ones as BBC have championship rights now. I believe Sky have first choice and BBC second which is why the article link was posted.
Redhyde
Why would YOU pick a city match to screen to the nation? As much as i'd enjoy it, what honest reason would the wider public want to watch us?
RedM
Why would YOU pick a city match to screen to the nation? As much as i'd enjoy it, what honest reason would the wider public want to watch us? Well as the BBC are doing controversial at the moment, I guess the only match they'd be interested in would be the Palace Warnock rematch.
Redhyde
These are those fixtures for the 9th of Jan QPR vs Plymouth Derby vs S****horpe Middlesbrough vs Swansea West Brom vs Nottm Forest Cardiff vs Blackpool Watford vs Sheff Utd Crystal Palace vs Bristol City Coventry vs Barnsley Reading vs Newcastle Sheff Wed vs Peterborough Preston vs Doncaster I'd pick us third to fourth on that date behind the other highlighted games. Frenchay Red
Not bothered either way whether any of our evening games are on the box. Oh no wait a minute, there going to mention our poor away form and Gerken's howler. Oop and now Jackie waste of time is saying how they've had a lot of complaints from Barnsley fans regarding the referee! Stop all this exposure BBC, I'm beginning to blush! NifflerNomad
i see Colin complaining again after hearing his side describe as physical by Billy Davis; Colin "i think that's a disgraceful statement...... He should keep he's mouth shut. How come we carved them open so often and created so many chances" i wish he would keep his mouth shut for a change im shocked he didn't add he's 60 year old. i hope they go down. anyho, i dont see why some people care if we on tv or not? we are way down the pecking order behind the ex prem team's, but agree QPR are looking very good at the moment
Dan Robin
I hope to see at least 1 or 2 matches on tv... 2 season ago (but also last season) things were better and there were 4-5 City matches televised, I don't understand why now our team is so ignored I saw WBA vs Presto weeks ago and it was a very poor match ...
