And Its Smith
Anyone got any great ideas for costumes? Any links to amazing costumes? Everything is the generic ghost costumes. All the good ones are about £70.
Philip Belgrave
Interesting. Back when I was a young lad in ye olde country, (circa AD 1692). Halloween was never a big deal. Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night/5th.November was the thing: and rightly so. Has England succumbed to this American "Trick or Threat" stuff now, as well as Oz ? Consumer culture Philip, any excuse to buy things and overeat. There seem to be pockets of it where a local "tradition" has grown up. I've not actually experienced it myself over here (though I'm happy to complain about it!) but did duty over in the US one time, where you go with the flow and buy a few bags of cheap sweets. Barrs Court Red
Thankfully Halloween seems to be dying on its arse. Load of American trash hijacked by young muppets intent on vadalism. Unfortuantly though Phillip, bonfire night is fading away too. PC culture and Health and Safety red tape seeing the number of displays drop. Barrs Court Red
You can, the whole point of bonfire night is to burn a ga....guy and rejoice at putting down a bloodthirsty Catholic plot. Good shout with H&S, still, it keeps thousands of people in jobs.
