Jungle Jim
A good example of where it did work was at the last world cup, and I presume most other major championships are the same. Because of the way tickets are sold through FIFA, sponsors, touts etc it is unavoidable. And there wasn't a problem at all, even with some Germans in there trying to stir it too! The atmosphere is still good as you still get groups of the same fans sat together. Phased into domestic football there's no reason why it shouldnt work for a lot of games. Obviously not all, but when the likes of Peterborough, Donny, S****horpe come to AG you'd like to think there would be no trouble if there was no segregation. On a cost basis it makes sense too, the odd arrest because a couple of blokes fall out in the stand is nothing compared to the huge segregation operations. bigbadbonkingbob
Obviously games like Doncaster v Forest were there is no history of trouble then yes i can see it being feasible and trouble free. Right. Because when they're screaming "Scabs! Scabs! Scabs!" at Forest fans, it's because they've all got annoying grazes on their knees and are asking for sympathy, is it?
