I just wanted to know what train would be the most popular with the city fans so i can get on that one? But it will more than likely be the connection at Birmingham. Harry
thanks for the link, very helpfull. That map is a bit out of date. The pub called the Royal Oak on Holyhead Road has now been demolished. I noticed this on our way to Birmingham away last year, having decided to detour into Brum through West Brom. So don't go near that one!

Eastend Fan
Whats the problem with the trains ?? Me and a couple of lads have booked train tickets from Temple Meads to the harthrons, but obviously with stops between. I think we get off at Birmingham, smethwick and somewhere else, i think its gloustershire. I take it this should all be ok seeing as they have sent the tickets to us with no problems ?? Eastend Fan
i just checked, between Gloucester and Birmigham theres a replacement bus Ah cheers, that is so annoying. Has anyone on this forum had this trouble before, if so could you advise me on a few things. Does it add time onto your journey ? If you have a connecting train after the bus journey can you get another one ? I'm asking this because my journey is Bristol - gloustershire Gloustershire - Birmingham (Bus replacement) Birmingham - Smethwick Smethwick - The harwthorns Does that mean I will miss the Birmingham - Smethwick journey. I'm quite conffused about all this and think ill be calling national Rail soon :/
