For me formations are so much shorthand. Much more important to me is mindset and for the last 18 months ours has been to sit on a lead with 9 or 10 men in our own half and hope for the best. The succession of tedious 1-1 draws and predictable late equalisers makes absolutely no difference to the tactics. Thje difference is that while fans see home draws as a failure Gary seems to see not losing as always a good result.
