Admin Maesknoll Red Posted January 1, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 Putting the goal times into a simple graph, highlights that we are most likely to score within fifteen minutes of half time. The graph covers league games this season including Watford. Book1.pdf Whatever is in GJ's halftime speech or in the teapot, needs to be extended to cover the other 76 minutes, especially the last 10!! Midge
He does seem to be able to motivate them more at half time than he does before the game,if you look at the majority of Gary's games with us we always seem to be very sluggish first half and then come to life after a bit of a half time rollocking,we've not won too many games by big margins and a lot of the time we are usually level or behind at the interval. Maybe he should lay into the players before the match so as we come out all guns blazing in the first half hour,so many games are won by a team who catches the oppostion cold. That being said of course, if you are leading 4-0 to early you can cause a major reaction from the opposition

As its an equal 6 at home and 6 away conceded in the last 10, its hard to explain except a loss of concentration or confidence at the end of the game.
