Martyn Hocking Posted January 22, 2010 Report Share Posted January 22, 2010 First glance at the Sainsbury plans for AG and Winterstoke Road look pretty well thought through to me. The store will be a double decker with a car park underneath but it sits well within the existing stadium footprint height and lengthwise apart from a bit at the front. Lots of the obligatory green features (does anyone actually cycle to a supermarket??) and sensible looking vehicle access. The plans for Winterstoke Road are a mix of residential and work use, which is what the planners said they originally wanted for AG at the of the Tesco bid so hopefully that ticks their boxes.
