The Humble Realist
I have noticed a trend in Wilsons speeches during the season for example " We have a few irons in the fire" This is always said when we are chasing possible transfer targets "We will take the game to the oppositon" Is always said before important away games liek the play off game this week "We deserved a point" Always said when we lose "We deserved to win" Always said when we draw "The crowd can really inimidate the oppostiton espeically at home and this is something the fans should do" Always said when we have a bad run Any opnions? Guest Father Dougal
'I think we controlled the game from start to finish' is one of Danny's favourites. Even if we concede three goals.

Robbored
Nearly all managers say the same thing each week - its part of being a manager. Arsene Wenger - "I didn't see the incident" Ferguson - "the referee got it wrong" Souness - "we never get penalties,we are Blackburn Rovers" Dave Jones - "we have to work harder" The list is endless................... Gerry Gows' Tash
Mangers do tend to come out with cliches, I reakon they learn them on day one at managers school. Gordon Strachan came out with a few Gems though: Q - In which areas did the opposition get the better of you ? A - Which areas ? Mainly that big green one out there Q - Do you think James Beattie is good enough to play for England ? A - I don't care, I'm Scottish Q - You were up against a very young team today ? A - Young ? I've never seen so much acne on a football pitch Q - Stupid question but you'll be glad to gat a first win under your belt ? A - Yes that is a stupid question ! And no I'm not a soton fan someone at work sent me them.
Robbored
Strachans post match interviews were legendary and are missed now that he's currently not in the game. I'd love to see him working for Sky as a pundit - he'd be more entertaining than many of the games they show...
