Passion

When I listen to radio phone ins etc and hear supporters say "there was a lack of passion" it usually makes me cringe as they can not find a footballing reason for the bad performance because they know so little about the game and blame it on the lack of passion when usually it is a lack of quality.

However,tonight there was a severe lack of passion.

The first booking was in injury time in a game against our deadliest rivals, if I was on the pitch at 2-0 I would be encouraging everyone to get "wired right in" and let Cardiff know that they can not get away with what was going on.

I always prefer to see City play theirselves out of trouble,but sometimes you have to impose yourselves on the other side and we did not do that tonight.

If you can not get up for a game against Cardiff there is something wrong.

Obviously, as proved over the last 3 games they are a better side than us, but should the players just roll over and let Cardiff tickle their tummy's?

It is time for a few of these players to grow "a pair" and start performing to the standard of their flash cars in the car park.
