The Original OTIB
4.33 years into the plan, Is Gary the man you would want to lead us into the Premier League and is he the man to keep us there? Come the end of the season he will have done nearly 5 years. I think that is long enough to know if he has what it takes to go on to the next level. The problem is that come the summer he still has 3 years left on his contract - presumably, so does Millen. Let's not ge hysterical here. Is he the man. That is all that matters. Note everyone is cut out for the top of their chosen profession. It's a reality that we all know in our daily lives. I think the club will back him until the summer and then take a view. You would hope by then that Alan Curbishley is still on the market. He's the only guy I can think of who can build from the bottom upwards. 5th most experienced Premier League manager.
