Barneyredballs
Just thinking about the financial side of things. With the thought that the losing side gets all gate receipts etc from this game, how much £ did city make from this one game? - Crowd of 86,700. £2,000,000 - £2,500,000? bristolcitysweden
Something like that. We should have made a profit that year but the money was invested back in the team and we broke even.

I think approximately double that, because by tradition the winning finalist lets the losing finalist have their share of the money. Unless Hull broke with tradition. (or it was £1m doubled to £2m!) Riaz
I dont think its anywhere near those figures... I think each finalist gets about half a million each - with the winner giving up there share... I'd imagine about a million max?
