BridgyRed
Theres a reasonably sized article in todays Telegraph about city's fortunes this season and Jer's travels, It says he has travelled over 4000 miles to away games but surely must be much more. Also raises the point of how he would get to cardiff as the m4 is a motorway. interesting point!
cheshire_red
I believe it is in excess of 7k. You can get to the Bridge and over it no problem, there is a walkway/cyclepath. Journalists rarely do their research.
purple_monkey_dishwasher
7917 miles at the last count - see the stats panel at his website to keep up to date with it all. Yeah, loads of facts wrong in the article, but that's the best coverage the Torygraph will give the second and third divisions all season so I guess we should be grateful

Admin Chris Posted May 14, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted May 14, 2004 All good exposure for Jer but: "By the time disgruntled fans were drowning their disappointment in a shabby tavern called Wedlocks" That's nice isn't it. :@ :@ :@

Port Said Red
I read this article while I was away and two things struck me about it. 1. He didn't actually mention why Jer was cycling to every game, anybody who didn't know night think he was just some looney , and if you worked it out for yourself, it might have been nice if there was a link/number for donations. 2. At some point he managed to put us in the same bracket as teams the size of Northampton town, saying that we have no chance of progressing EVER. :@
