Admin Maesknoll Red Posted March 19, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted March 19, 2010 The south west is to get the original recipe Blackthorn again http://www.thisisbri...il/article.html Is it returning to its previous recipe or is it actually going back to the original? The original was fermented at Norton Fitzwarren by Taunton Cider, when Taunton Cider was taken over by Matthew Clark and production moved to Shepton Mallet, they actually changed the recipe then (approx 1996). The change wasn't as drastic as the recent change, but change it was. Would have been nice to see it going back to the original (pre Matthew Clark) taste.
