Plymouth Away...what A Crucial Game This Now Is!

Well, after another loss- which in fairness, didn't come as any major surprise- was at Reading home game in December and in honesty they were the better side. Anyway, Tuesday night how important will this now become? This is a derby, Plymouth will be well up for it. If they win, they will still stay in touch with a game in hand, and in fact would be only 11 points off us with said game in hand. If we lose this one, we could slip to as low a position as 18th...a point at the bare minimum is truly vital, but I'm not at all convinced that we will get anything from it. Would go as far as to suggest that it could be our most vital game since the 2008 Play Off Final.

It was important before todays game which was a banker home win.

As for being as vital as the play off final, thats just laughable IMO.

It is just another opportunity to gain 3 points. Being an away fixture helps remove the pressure, an away point is always gratefully received. We need to help the players play more confidently, building up the pressure game by game does not help. With a few draws and a couple of wins between now and May we will be safe and looking forward to rebulding for next season.

Well we lost. Really thought we needed one point minimum, especially with our run in.

March:

Newcastle (H)- Top of League and pretty much nailed on to return to PL.

Barnsley (H)- Must win- No more needs to be said.

Peterborough (A)- Fighting for lives, lost tonight but 3 home wins in 5 since Gannon took over.

April:

Nottm Forest (H)- Pushing hard for promotion, we never seem to beat them.

Sheff Wed (A)- Real 6 pointer, they are fighting for their lives. Dare not lose.

Swansea (H)- Local derby, Swansea well in the mix for playoffs.

S****horpe (A)- Crucial 6 pointer, fighting for lives- dare not lose.

Derby (H)- Like Barnsley, really need 3 points.

May:

Blackpool (A)- Fine home record, pushing for playoffs and Holloway would relish the chance to send us down. Don't fancy our chances in that one!
