redrobin108
Bristol City had a good opportunity to reduced admission prices for this match. (Not the half hearted attempted they have made) :sport5: A lot of other teams are doing special others such as: 1)Attend the previous home match and get the next one at a students price. 2) Or 2 home match adult tickets for £20 But not our board :sport5: , and they wonder why fans are not turning up. tompo
As gate receipts have to be shared for cup games presumably the opponents have to be consulted. Perhaps Barnsley were not willing.

redrobin108
Fair point to the reply. But we could still have said Buy the cup game at full price and get the next league home match at a students price.

Guest WillsbridgeRed
What part of "we're losing money" do people not grasp? And by reducing the prices it'll still not make much difference to the gate, and seeing as Barnsly have a cut out of takings it'll reduce even more. WestburyRed
Season ticket holders would love that wouldn't they I do wonder about this sometimes when League match prices are reduced, I hear Rovers are doing a deal tomorrow and basically anyone can watch the match for a fiver or less. Reducing Cup match prices is fair enough because everybody has to pay, but reducing league match ticket prices is a bit of a kick in the teeth.
