O_Faz
Firstly I only listened to the first half on the radio (Cricket match ) so couldn't really say if we deserved our first half lead or not. In the second half however we did well to hang on to a draw. Hartlepool came at us with a lot of pace, with plenty of slick moves, but with only one goal to show. Referee didn't give what was a penalty, (although 'Pool will blame us for that ) and tried to compensate by giving free-kicks and yellow cards out willy nilly, notably Coles' innocuous challenge when challenging from behind, and when pressurised by the Hatlepool attacker. However, we should come out of the game pleased with a draw. It now means that, with no away goals, that we can approach the game on Wednesday as a one-off winner-takes-all clash. Personally I see this as favourable for City, as Hartlepool can't win with Men behind the ball (A la Cardiff last season) and although we have had goalscoring problems, we have the capabilities to do so. Roll on Wednesday..
