Keepers Ball Posted March 18, 2010 Report Share Posted March 18, 2010 My copy of FourFourTwo magazine came through the door yesterday and of late have been a bit miffed of lack of articles written about our club or players. Well today im even more miffed as over the past two months there has been a vote in process on the Top 50 Football League players.... ....and not one of them was a representative of Bristol City. Votes were taken by readers, players and Managers of the 72 members of the Football League. To ensure parity players and managers throughout the league were asked for their Top 5 not including players from their own club. Also pundits from the national press, TV and radio gave their input. Most of the players voted for were obviously from the Championship but seven came from League 2 with Rochdale and notts county having two a-piece. The apparent best of the rest included a single player in the mould of Nicky Maynard. So there you have it. Quite embarrassing when you think about it.
