always hoping Posted March 28, 2010 Report Share Posted March 28, 2010 Good solid team effort on a difficult pitch. Everyone put in a shift and City were deserved winners albeit Posh gave us a fright near the end. Thought Hartley , JCR, Gerkin and Ribs were the standout players, with Fontaine having a great last 30 mins where he showed strength and determination to keep the clean sheet. Hartley's playing like the general he is. JCR always looked dangerous and even did a good job defensively Ribs another accomplished performance, strong and pacey Gerkin good hands, did not put a foot wrong today. Fans loud and entertaining as ever. Forest will be a real test. Glad the lads have a few days off to recover, lots of them looked a little tired today with quite a few carrying knocks and strains. Fontain was excellent last 30 Ribs confidence is growing with every game and looks a natural I have noticed that Orr actually plays much better with Ribs behind him ! Forrest will be test indeed.
