I BELIEVE
HARTLEY HARTLEY HARTLEY
Bristolian76
Find it laughable that Hartley is in contention, if it was based on games played since GJ left then yes. I'd like to see Skuse win it but can see a landslide victory for Nicky purely as the goalscorers always (usually) get the plaudits.

If thats the case you can only help influence things by voting yourself. CITYPOY14 to 60060 for Mr Skuse.

The Red Planet
Text CITYPOY11 (Hartley) to 60060 I agree Maynard, Skuse, Haynes and Orr are all contenders but this player was easily our best summer signing and shows massive commitment, vision and skills - a proper midfield play-maker. Usually very good in dead ball situations as well - although his corners v Swansea left a bit to be desired. If we can hang on to him, he should be Carey's successor as Captain - no doubt about that in my mind. So if you agree, get your votes in now. From the official website "There will also be chance for fans to vote via forms handed out at the final home game of the season against Derby County on April 24th." If you don't see one of these forms on Saturday week, then let me know and I will see what can be done.

Ben4BCFC
Skuse and Maynard both deserve an award IMO, so it has to be Skuse POY and Maynard Young POY, just so both get the deserved recognition

SC&T Board Members Blagdon red Posted April 13, 2010 Author SC&T Board Members Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 Keep those votes coming - over 150 so far. Without wanting to give too much away, one player is starting to pull ahead in the battle for the main award, while the young player voting is almost too close to call. Early days yet, though, and in addition to these text votes there's the SC's paper votes to count as well. So everything to play for ... if you've not cast your vote for the players you think deserve these two awards, then there's no time like now! Full details in the pinned post above. For Player Of the Year: text CITYPOY + squad number to 60060 (e.g. CITYPOY99) For Young Player Of the Year: text CITYYPOY + squad number to the same number
bristolcitysweden
Seems not possible to vote from abroad but five goals from central midfield dispite suffering from rotation - Paul Hartley.
