myol'man
Now, assuming Millen was never going to get the job (the Tinnion factor) unless our new manager is already employed ( O'Driscoll, McClaren?) was there any reason for this long, drawn out situation? Maybe the new manager should have been signed and sealed before the Posh game? Thoughts?

We're safe from relegation so I'm quite happy for Steve Lansdown and Co to take their time to make a more considered BCFC manager choice.
Alex_BCFC
There is no rush. Why before the Posh game? Why not at end of the season. SL knows what he is doing.
Mrdc
I would rather wait and get the best man for the job.

I'm unsure of the rush, the new manager will no doubt be watching endless DVD's of games and Steve will have plenty of ideas of what players he wants to keep/move on

I'm unsure of the rush, the new manager will no doubt be watching endless DVD's of games and Steve will have plenty of ideas of what players he wants to keep/move on I understand what people are saying about not rushing a decision, but on the flip side it would have been nice for the new manager to have a few games to watch and work with the players. It could help them gel and let the manager really consider what changes he wants to make in the summer (and get into the market early for the free agents).
