Economou
If we want to be near the top six, or higher, next season we need to drastically improve our away form, as 22 defeats in the last couple of years would indicate. The basic problem seems to be we don't score enough and let too many in at the other end ! Have been to a few games away from AG over the last few seasons and have yet to see us win, but do the regular away watchers have any thoughts on where the problem lies. Perhaps the answer is in the way Millen has approached the last four games where we appeared a lot tighter, S****horpe excepted, and pinched a couple of narrow wins, albeit against clubs near the bottom. Home form is amazing with only nine defeats in the last three championship seasons, don't know how long we can rely on this though.

Which is why we need to strengthen the defence. Again, with a decent defence over the last season and a half that home record would have a lot more wins in it too. Roger Red Hat
win more away games Alternatively, we could draw and lose less away games.
CiderHider
Towards the end of GJ's rein I think the players actually got a little nervious towards the end of games, the goals we conceded spells thats only too accuratly. Other teams knew this and exploited it. A hard thing put right, but sure it can be done. Defend better and score more goals, plimples

Employ a manager who has the tactical brain to undo teams in this division. In appointing Coppell we have done this. Johnson relied to much on a "workman like ethic" to bring us success, which.....once is found out, fails miserably GJ relied to much on this "Prozone"...where I believe it was O'Driscoll who said that, even though he uses it as an aid, your own eyes should be able to see what needs improving and what doesnt Coppell is in a different league to GJ, I would expect both our home and away form to improve next year
