There has been big changes at the club as a whole, and a new start and new approach with the first team. Is there anything that can be done to save the Forum Team? I think we should definately at least think about having a BFD in the old format in the upcoming season. We haven't had one of these fixtures since our promotion to the Championship. The reasoning behind that I fully understand and a cool off period was required. A BFD has an effect however on the rest of the games. I believe that if by autumn we can be at least in talks and get a couple friendlies back under our belts that there will be hope for the OTIB team. For those who haven't been involved before the forum team is a good team to be part of. There is a good group of lads and older players who strive on doing the best we can. When we put the City kit on we represent the club and give our all to the cause. It's not all serious though and we have players of varying ability levels and it's mostly all about having a bit of a laugh and socialising with other City fans. There are a fair few clubs in The Championship who do have fans teams and games are on the whole arranged for when the clubs are playing. We have played the Fans World Champions Preston home and away and they like the 99.9% of teams I have played against as a forum team player are competitive but friendly and a good day is had by most regardless of the score.
