chowie
Skysports.com understands Swedish forward Marcus Olsson is attracting mounting interest from England. The 21-year-old is currently on the books of Halmstads in his homeland, where he has been a first-team regular for the past two years. A number of mature performances have brought him to the attention of clubs outside of Scandinavia, with it widely expected that he will be on the move this summer. A switch to England appears to be the most likely option, with his twin brother Martin already plying his trade at Blackburn Rovers. Marcus is hoping to tread a similar path in the near future, but for now the Premier League may be a step too far. He could, however, be drafted in by a Championship club, with Bristol City and newly-promoted Leeds United reported to be interested. It is understood that a bid of around £600,000 would be enough to tempt Halmstads into a sale. Link Wiki Page Interesting that we are playing Halmstads in a friendly, or maybe thats why we've been linked with him!

Bristolian76
Always snigger when i read "SkySports.com understands" as that usually means it's rubbish. Could be wrong though of course
GrahamC
Sky sports aren't always wrong, Scandinavia is certainly an area where Coppell has signed players from in the past and we clearly need a left sided midfielder, so it isn't the most outrageous link, is it? His style of play is similar to Martins. More attacking though. A bit cold up here so I used his Prozone stats for the open fire yesterday

Nogbad the Bad
If his twin brother Martin signed for Blackburn it's quite possible they watched both duplicate wingers then made a mistake and signed the wrong brother. Marcus might even be the better of the two doppelganger widemen and the one they actually meant to sign for the Premier League. Even more room for confusion as both their first names start with M. Plimsolface
It seems that since we announced our tour of sweden we've been linked with every swedish footballer under the sun. It seems like the press, typically, putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.
