Colchester Vs Norwich

At the end of the day, the guys human, why shouldn't he be able to respond in kind?

Nothing annoys me more when people pass on emails, or complain to the old bill because a player responded to some abuse, in guy.

I'm not sure comparing the norwich owners to Hitler is in anyway "responding in kind"

it's just plain insulting to plenty of people.

The fella seems a complete prat, and the email he recieved wasn't exactly the most disrespectful... if anything it was pretty tame, asking for this bloke to grow up and stop dragging old news up.

Its tough at the top.

We all get to breaking point at some time and the gentleman at Colchester reached his.

Part of the trouble will always be that other people do not have the full facts, will make assumptions as to what they dont know, often on the basis of their belief that they are on the side of the good guy.

While none of us can really have much sympathy with the Hitler referrence most of us can have sympathy with reacting to a personal attacks and finally having had enough of turning the other cheek.

We are all human no matter what position we hold in life! Good luck to Colchester next season a good well run club that consistantly punches above its weight... and they will always have Norwich 1-Colchester 6 to look back on!

But you gotto admit though, it was quite funny. Made i laugh anyway. Still, agreeing with the OP its nice to know that SL wont stoop to replying

to emails in that way.

It's good that he's seen the error of his ways, as he shouldn't have reacted in the way he did, however the reaction of the fan is typical, go running to the press telling tales. As Moomin pointed out earlier in the thread, it's the same as people who dish abuse out for 90 minutes and then go crying to the police/stewards when the object of their abuse has a go back or celebrates a goal in front of them.
