mcbcfc
Found this on the 606 forum - Brilliant 'Construction of the new stadium was about to start this week when we encountered yet another setback. Workmen were already loading the transit van parked in Travis Perkins yard when Wendy, partner of our main contractor Bob, discovered red asbestos on the list of materials. Inexplicably this substance was shown on the plans as being a core component in the walls and ceilings of the student accomodation. At a hastily convened Board meeting we resolved to take the only option available which ensures the tradition and heritage of BRFC is preserved. It is a decision I am sure all true Gasheads will understand and support. We have asked contractors to resubmit their tenders with the specification changed so the walls and ceilings of the student accomodation are made using blue asbestos.' Can anyone think of another reason to put off starting work???? I think their board are running out of ideas
