Admin Ian M Posted July 6, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted July 6, 2010 Read this in the Daily Star today Bristol City boss Steve Coppell is lining up a £2m bid for Stoke Striker Dave kitson dont know how much truth is in this, I think its to much for a 30 year old We wouldn't stump up £2m & if Stoke were to accept a smaller bid then I doubt we'd be willing to match what Kitson would ask for per week. Ashcott Boy
Good god the Daily Star are slow at churning out the old rumours. Would be a good signing but apparently the rumour was his wage demands were £10k higher than our offer.
City1984
Wouldn't like to see this one happen, not for for these figures anyway. Now if it was jay bothroed we were talking about then........ Well not really sure what to say now but you get the point, I hope.
chinapig
I love the vague phrases the press use to cover up the fact they are making things up. What exactly does "preparing a bid" mean? Is Steve typing it out on headed paper right now perhaps? Not much more meaningful than their other favourite "such and such a club is monitoring player x", which presumably means they have a private detective on his tail.
