Gung Ho Or Cautious

Recommended Posts

So then, how should Danny instruct the team tomorrow. I have just watched the West Ham v Ipswich game and the Hammers pretty much went at from the off. They deserved it on the night and fair play to them.

However only a week or so ago Chelsea tried the same tactic against Monaco and were picked off by the away team.

So what do you think is the best option. Should City go all out for the early goal, in the hope that if Hartlepool concede one, they may crumble and 2, 3 or 4 may follow ? Or should we stick to the more cautious approach ? Perhaps respect the away wins tally that Hartlepool have. We perhaps should be mindfull that if Hartlepool scored one, we ourselves could be succeptible to a counter attack when we go in search of the equaliser.

It is not an easy task Danny has. He has to way up the mindset of his players. How will they react to a frustrated crowd if it is 0-0 after 70 mins.

Some come on people - step into the managers shoes - what would YOU do ?

Gung Ho seems a bit OTT for a cup final (which is pretty much what this playoff leg has become). So if I was playing Champ Man, it would have to be set on Attacking full stop.
