bangers
With both Hunt and Ribeiro injured who is most likely to start RB against Millwall? With rumours of Skuse and Elliott as possible fillers surely we need them in the centre of midfield as LJ and GW are potentially too lightweight in a centre midfield 2.... What are peoples thoughts???
Dolman_Stand
Skuse will be right-back and hopefully Gavin will get a chance next to Marv in the middle
newarkred
Think it will be Skuse. I would give young Joe Edwards a chance though.
bangers
So Skuse RB wouls leave us with either GW or LJ in the centre....Would go for GW for his creativity, LJ too lightweight and more suited to a midfield 3. Also leaves us very short on the bench in centre midfielders.
westred1
I'd say Joe Edwards. Heard he's had a pretty decent pre-season deserves a chance. No point putting our best central midfielders in there when we have a promising talent who actually plays at RB to fill in for Ribs and Hunt. Mikee Freedom
Think it will be Skuse. I would give young Joe Edwards a chance though. I've watched Joe Edwards last season for the reserves & in pre season friendlys & looks a class player. I agree with you i would give young Joe Edwards a start. Rocky
I'd like to think last years player of the season would not have to put up with being pushed around the empty slots of the team, would much rather he be left in the middle where he's most effective!? Give the lad Edwards a chance I say.
Mikee Freedom
cambell ryce played in the middle against yeovil i thought he done alright Another class player. He has lots of pace isn't scared to jump up for a ball even if he is knee high to a munchkin & has lots of skill on the ball great delivery & 90% pass rate is good. He will do us proud this season of that i am sure. I like his possition he plays in at present & still think Joe Edwards should start at Right Back... sodburyred
Has Skuse played RB at all under Coppel? Everyones thinking he will get moved there because thats what GJ would have done. I was under the impression that there was a young RB that played alot of games this pre season. Perhaps its more likely that he'll get a run out. Leaving Skuse, a player Coppel clearly rates to play in hs best position.
Jordan Tansley
are everyone playing cisse at the back then? Whats the news with Carey? I'd have thought if needed Elliot would drop to right back, Skuse and Cisse in the middle of midfield and Stewart will play centre half with either Carey or Fonts. unless I missed some injuries? The Casual Connoisseur
Cisse, Hunt, Haynes, Maynard and Carey all out, that's half The first team out, it's going to be a tough first few weeks, one injury at centre back or up top could see us down to the bare bones. mcbcfc
If we intend to play 4-3-3 then it has be Edwards, If it's 4-4-2 then we can afford to play Skuse there.
BristolRed11
Have to be skuse i reakon. I wouldnt risk young Joe Edwards there because it being opening game of season. We need a good start so we need strongest side possible no offense to Edwards..

Gillies Downs Leeds
Can't see it being Skuse. He will sit in front of the back four. Joe Edwards for me.

Joshua19
Has just got to be Edwards for me. Round pegs and all that. Yes, Skuse can play almost anywhere but i believe he benefits the team most in midfield. Previously, Skuse was moved to right back because it was the 'safe' thing to do, which undoubtedly weakened the middle. but i am hoping that SC will see things a little different.
