There is good chance they could be, but thats not necessary a bad thing, these sort of players will try and impress and will no doubt be the better players within the team they are playing for now. I would rather have one of those than some ex premier player just earning his pension and no club commitment. Lets be fair we have had a few of them in the past!! Look at McDermot at Reading..An inexperienced guy but managed to bring in Andy Griffin and Zhishanisvilli on loan from PL sides at the back end of the season. milo1111 Posted August 12, 2010 Report Share Posted August 12, 2010 I would think (hope) that SL will make sure that Millen gets a decent first signing under his belt to alleviate some of the disappointment in Coppell doing a runner and the perception in some quarters that Millen is the cheap option. First up a decent quality striker.. totally agree. time for SL to back millen big time with a striker. use the money saved on SC's salary and get someone in to put a spring in everyones step again. we need a striker anyway.
