sumcharred
with david james as our no1 keeper should we have 2 other good keepers as well only one on bench should we put the 3rd keeper out on loan to gain experience so if one gets injured we can call him back and hes ready to play ? I thought we probably would let Gerks or Hendo go on loan, but with a 24/48 hour recall clause. However, I'm just wondering if they might actually learn more from staying at the Gate and working with DJ. I didn't go to Southend, but sounds like Gerks played a blinder. I wonder how much he has already learnt from his mentor.

I don't see your point? We have had 3 good keepers at all times in the last 3 or 4 seasons, so what changes from other years? Surely the most important issue is playing games!
