RedM
Well I might as well be the person that starts off the latest Kitson thread as nothing is happening for us today! Stoke have signed Jon Walters for £2.75m in a deal that could rise to £3.25m. Along with Kenwyne Jones for £8m they are certainly splashing the cash and showing intent (horrible team). Someones nose is being pushed out.
Betelgeuse
I thought Walters was more of an attacking mid? I might be wrong.
Mclovin BS14
no way is walters worth that much surely! I was thinking like 1 mill between 1.5.

Melksham Red
Very good player at this level and always caused us all sorts of problems.
GrahamC
Where does this leave stead? I think Keane's idea is Jonathan Walters and Jon Stead out, Jason Scotland and Ross McComack in.
City1984
I think Keane's idea is Jonathan Walters and Jon Stead out, Jason Scotland and Ross McComack in. Seems reasonable enough, cheers for the view GrahamC.

RedM
I think Keane's idea is Jonathan Walters and Jon Stead out, Jason Scotland and Ross McComack in. Football gets more like an a house buying chain everyday doesn't it. As for the silly money, well it just shows what we are up against really. And it's not good. Big Stan Hibbert
£2.75m for that fat blob?! 8 goals last season?!! World gone mad. Maynard now worth £47m + Messi
Whale Eye Beef Hooked
Maynard now worth £47m + Messi I hope i am wrong but i am now thinking that the Stead deal will be dead. I think Keane wasn't letting stead go just in case he gets an inflated price for Walters instead which has now happened.
