simonwheeler
Exeter City have decided to "retire" the number nine shirt for nine seasons in respect and memory of Adam Stansfield. http://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/page/OfficialWord/0,,10436~2129402,00... Nice touch and should remind us all when we moan about our current defensive issues or the ongoing new stadium saga that there are probably more important things going on in our great game...................... Hmmm. Football is entertainment, not tragedy. Life and death... different. Exeters gesture may not mean much to family and friends but it is a noble and caring gesture. Nice thought which, one day, may be fully appreciated.
