100200300dear
My sister just picked up the phone from City, some woman was speaking. Only been to one game this season, would it have most likely been to try to sell me tickets for forthcoming games?
WellRedPhil
My sister just picked up the phone from City, some woman was speaking. Only been to one game this season, would it have most likely been to try to sell me tickets for forthcoming games? I'd imagine so, I had one trying to sell me a season ticket when I'd already renewed!
InCider
Expect it would have been about bringing a friend for a tenner for Watford. Last call I had was about the same deal for Barnsley.
100200300dear
I'm not a season ticket holder so most likely to come to the Watford game.

Last call I had was about the same deal for Barnsley. I had the same phone call, except I can't bring a friend to the EE unless they are a member. Shame cos my brother would have liked to go. 100200300dear
I just went through the online booking form and apparently Eastend is open to everyone. Well i'm not a member and it let me go all the way through without paying. Just wanted to check whether I could.
Nibor
It wasn't a sales call. There was a rumour you were left footed and that was Keith Millen's missus asking you to bring your boots to the next game.
Tom
It is open this season. (the EE)
100200300dear
Apparently the call was from someone called Emma, any ideas?

Shame cos my brother would have liked to go. Yes, told them that much when they called. What's the point of bringing friends along, to then sit in different stands? Dollymarie
It is open this season. (the EE) When they rang me and I asked about bringing my brother due to the "needing to be a member or an ST holder to get in there" rule, they went away and checked and came back and said that my brother would need to be a member. Unless they've changed the rules in the last couple of weeks, but he went away and checked with Jayne.

Guest Cassio
It might be something to do with the City Foundation. I had a call from a girl with a northern accent asking for a £10 monthly donation for the academy brats. She wanted me credit card details on the spot. I was brought up to never get into debt, so I always pay cash money. Then she said she'd send me an envelope to put some notes in. I said fair enough. BUT THE ENVELOPE NEVER ARRIVED!!!!AhhhhhHahahaHAha
Hicksy-BCFC
Kind of related but how awesome is Jayne. Several times I have been in Australia for work, needed to get hold of a ticket to go to a game on the day I arrive and she has called me on my Australian mobile to sort out the ticket for me. Sorry it's not that related but she's bloody brilliant and a credit to the club.

BUT THE ENVELOPE NEVER ARRIVED!!!!AhhhhhHahahaHAha As a City Foundation member myself I can tell you that the normal method of payment is direct debit taken from your bank account. Which is just the same as drawing the cash from your account and paying that way. So, if you can afford it, sign up please. Can't remember the exact figure but the Foundation raises several tens of thousands of pounds a year to support the club AND you might win a prize (never happened to me yet, but that is not the point). However, I did once win the Cash Takeway. City v Chesterfield game - a few years back now. Could not believe that Mike (whatshisname?) handed me the prize in cash in an envelope pitchside ! I notice it's a cheque these days.
REDPJ
I had a call from Emma today. It was regarding the 'Bring a mate for a tenner' offer for the Watford game.
100200300dear
Do you know whether it was on a 01484487945 number REDPJ? Just did a search for it and it has came up as a Huddersfield number. I don't know how I can bring a mate either as I'm not a season ticket holder.
