That's a bit unfair on Albert Adomah who was the best player at Ipswich playing left wing (and covering for McAllister every five minutes).

For all the excitement on here you'd think we'd actually signed a halfway competent left back or right back - or has no one been watching this season.

nah, none of us have been watching.

we sign a cracking player and you are moaning we havnt got a good enough full back? look at the positives! it shows ambition, shows players want to come to use, shows wigley as a good appointment, show players believe that playing for us will improve their future. Such good news to have a natural outlet on the left, really really pleased. putting a few pennies on us this weekend, you can gets 2's on us getting 3 points!

he cant play this weekend...

and he does have a point, we score goals... the trouble is, we concede too many.

Left back still needs strengthening... 2 years after it became apparent.

When you add this signing in with the others Millan has made since he took charge; the new boss appears to have achieved what Coppell seemed unable to do. Attract good quality players down to the Gate...Perhaps its the influence of Wrigley, perhaps we have loosened the purse strings; either way, (on paper at least) we look a better side now than when Cop Out walked.

Fingers crossed the Lad does well.

I'd imagine Wigley was heavily involved. Redknapp stated a few days ago he wanted Rose to go out on loan so we must have acted quickly.

He also played well agaiest Barnsley but we had no out let on the other wing so the point is with haynes on the right & a nature left footed player on the left wing we now have good opsions
