Barrs Court Red
Lib Dem deputy council leader Simon Cook said: "I am shocked and disappointed at the independent inspector's conclusion. "Although I respect the fact that she has found that there is a case for awarding a village green, designating the whole 42 acres in question seems utterly unreasonable." http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/news/Ashton-Vale-wins-town-green-status/article-2653127-detail/article.html
DeadmanTF1
So the question for Simon just how much would land would he and the council call reasonable . Because now if the council will have to go against this recommendation if they had any plans 2 build on this site . Ian sure if only part of the site had been given village green status then the council would be doing cartwheels with joy.
