"village green, your havin a laugh village green, your havin a laugh" Surely SL and the club hearing the fans chanting that would raise a smile? Whenever we score after the intial cheers etc die down .. how about a gurt big ironic chant of - 'WOT A LOAD OF RUBBISH!!!' ? It'd get a bit of confused attention and hopefully media comment - then the penny will drop that the chant is related to the rediculous opposition to developing Ashton Vale (& claims that an overgrown swampy possibly dangerous former landfill site can be in any way described as a Village Green).
