leedsred
Bristol City London Supporters Club 4 Exeter City 0. BCFC lads made it four points from their opening two matches, with free flowing confident football in strong winds on the Civil Services pitches in Chiswick. Playing with the wind, but with 10 players at kick off due to late arrivals, City put Exeter on the back foot from the off. But after missing a hat full of chances, once parity had been restored with the late arrivals, they held a slender 1 goal advantage at the break. Playing against the wind City put in another strong performance with neat passing from the likes of Duncan Baisely, powerful midfield play from inspirational player manager Mark Cooke, superb dribbling from Matthew Franklin and explosive play from Andrew Frangoulis.... and despite talismanic centre half skipper Laurence Mora having to come off with a hamstring injury. Goals from Ali Stock - 2 from Frangoulis and a collectors item of a Cooke header sealed the deserved victory. There was even a missed penalty for City as they taught their West Country rivals a footballing lesson. Onward and upward....... Keith let me know if you want to borrow anyone for next weekend as we've only got a friendly......
