fka dagest
We've tried every combination of players and nearly every formation known to man excepting one: 2-3-5 Nobody's used it for about 50 years, so nobody would expect it. And nobody would expect a manager to take advice from a forum - so call their bluff! For Tuesday night we should play: Jambo (gk) Carey McAllister (full-backs) Elliot, Skuse, Rose (half-backs) Sproule, Adomah, Stead, Clarkson, Haynes (forwards) We can afford to go easy at the back because we're bound to conceded 2 or 3 at home anyway. Jambo and Carey must play, so they can squabble. McAllister is the only left full-back we have. Skuse must play because he's local and if we just keep playing him forever he will eventually affect a game. The forwards... pah! We've got so many, at least they'll be glad to get a game. What do people think? Could it work?
Roger Red Hat
Isn't that the formation GJ used at Watford last season, when we turned in yet another crap performance?
