dezgimed
Couldnt make it. Away with work. However BBC said this: 71:46 Jem Karacan takes a shot. Brilliant save by David James. 42:18 Corner taken by Ian Harte from the right by-line played to the near post, David James makes a brilliant save. 38:47 Free kick awarded for a foul by Jamie McAllister on Jimmy Kebe. Ian Harte delivers the ball from the free kick right-footed from right wing, fantastic save by David James. Brilliant and Fantastic saves, and thats from the uninspiring autotext! Did he prevent a few certain goals? I think alot of the aggression towards him is unjust and mostly a direct result of our current predicament. Perhaps he'll kick on now! The Enormous Turnip
I remember the one at 38:47, it would have been a carbon copy of Cardiff's second goal had it gone in and he did well to get across to it. It was a top performance from him, a few great saves from especially in the second half, and the best bit was he held onto everything too.

The Bard
He showed what he is - a very experienced keeper of the highest level. Fingers crossed, he's now got 2 decent, mobile centre halves giving him the protection all keepers need. Those who were blaming him for our plight know nothing about football. Nibor
He did well, two very good saves, some more fairly regulation ones. I'd like to see the wide players a bit more aware of the early throw possibilities.

bearded_red
Did very well, time and again his class was shown when catching the ball rather then just saving it. The real difference between him and Deano is his ability to come and collect crosses. In my opinion Gerken is a fantastic shot stopper but he was regularly found to be glued to his line or, later in the season, making rash and naive decsions to charge off his line! Red Cloud
that save in the 2nd hald (about 50 mins) was out of this world - no idea how the hell he got to it - absolute fantastic performance from him!
dragonreds
is james carrying an injury though? gerken was doing a lot of warming up in front of me and james kept looking over at the bench. saying that if that was a performance from james carrying an injury i wonder what a fully fit james can do. BCFC Jordan
what happened? They were chanting 'You let your country down' and from what I saw he turned around and made a yawning gesture. Also loved him diving down on the ball towards the end.
myol'man
Big hug with Carey in the centre circle about 3 minutes after the final whistle, last off the pitch. Quality perfomance. Portland Bill
When he made his stunning dive through the air save in the 2nd half, there was a funny little "oh Basso" chant from the corner of the Atyeo.

Frenchay Red
He made one or perhaps two outstanding saves that would have beaten most keepers I would think. But he did worry me once in the first half when he failed to hold a shot but gathered it on the bounce, and then right at the death he made a bit off an ineffective punch following a corner, which caused some last minute panic as we tried to clear the ball. But a clean sheet win is as good as it gets, and if we can build on this and get some confidence running through the team then DJ and the defence will hopefully become very miserly with conceding goals.
