Red Star
That That uk tour venues. Sunderland Manchester Cardiff Dublin Glasgow Birmingham London Not a big Take That fan but thought I would use it as an example for why this City needs this stadium. We have no chance of bands like this coming to Bristol. So come on people let's get these signatures.

CotswoldRed
The good news in that announcement is they won't be coming, 'cause they're b*llocks.
Dollymarie
Here bloody here. Haven't seen take that in Bristol since their very first tour at the Colston Hall in the early 90's. They haven't been back since and have gone elsewhere. Makes me sad. Cotswold shut it

Tins
Every place they are touring is a football stadium!! We need a new stadium or arena ASAP!!
WhistleHappy
I'd rather watch Tom & Gavin Williams playing with an Elastic Band .. than see Robbie playing with Take That !! (but you are right - if Bristol wants to see any major tour gigs by popular headline acts - It NEEDS an Arena/Stadium complex or it just aint gonna happen.) WhistleHappy
Tell ya what though ... A Christmas Gig by The Wurzels on Mr Lansdowns 'Village Green' at Ashton Vale would draw a crowd..(actually i'd go) ... wonder if we'd get permission for that? Can't stand them myself (especially that pillock Robbie Williams) and the only reason they got back together was because they ran out of money, but your point is VERY valid. OF COURSE Bristol should be included on these tours, but if an Arena is built at Ashton Vale I understand this would be Phase 2 of the stadium development. myol'man
You only have to look at the ads for various bands tours in the Sunday papers to see that none of the major acts come to Bristol Now Take That and **** off!

I'm no Take That fan or music in general, but when two bit shitty little cities like Cardiff, and Sunderland are in the frame it makes you think. Both unimportant dumps in the context of the UK

Admin phantom Posted October 28, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted October 28, 2010 £88 was for booking via a coach company, bet the tickets will be nearer £40 - £50, the rest to get from WSM to Cardiff - what a rip off !

Red Star
Bon jovi are bigger but they all come to the gate when their past it cause this city doesn't have any decent music venues. I can't stand Take That but it's all the talk in my place if work. I love this city but I just need to be inspired by it.
Rob k
Bon jovi are not bigger in Britain, it took my wife 10 hrs to get tickets for take that, only if oasis announced a new tour would there be as much interest for tickets in this country.
