Lack of Action Man
But how long will his career with us last? It's not a case of him moving as I think he is settled here now but rather how many years can the club get out of him? I would hope for at least 3 seasons, provided he keeps himself as athletic and as match ready as he has shown himself to be this season. Your thoughts guys? I agree that he is a crucial member of the first team. I noticed yesterday how well he organised the defence (or at least gave instructions that might not have been enacted very well by the back four!). I would imagine that we could get next season out of him. After that, who knows? He did say recently that he wants to go into management, so it might depend on any offers that came up. I certainly think that a coaching role at City might be a strong possibility when he does retire from playing. Either way, he is a great pro and a very good influence/role model for our younger/less experienced players. It is a pleasure to have him at the club. spudski
It might depend on which league we are playing in next season. Great addition to the squad though and we are lucky to have him imho. One of SL's success buys.
